Create new partition

  1. stop jellyfin
  2. stop sshfs mounts
  3. umount /srv/hdd0
  4. umount /srv/hdd1
  5. umount /srv
  6. resize /srv to create 64GB
  7. create /var on this new partition
  8. copy /var (use rsync) to /new-var
  9. sudo rsync -avxHAX --progress /var/* /mnt/newvar/
  10. edit fstab - set /var using /new-var
  11. reboot
  13. we should now be using /hdd0/var-bak as /var
  17. we should now not be using /srv
  19. umount old-var
  20. umount /srv
  21. resize /srv using parted - create 64GB
  22. resize old-var == +64GB
  23. reboot
  26. we should now be using /hdd0/var-bak and have original /var+64GB
  28. edit fstab - move /var back to /var+64GB
  29. reboot
  32. we should now be using /var+64GB as /var in original location
  34. check+confirm
  37. complete?
